1958 MGA Roadster restored by Oselli some 1800 miles ago and rebuilt to a very high specification.
The car itself was an original UK home market car registered 5th June 1958 to the Lancashire Police Constabulary. Built it says to Police specification with the registration number 494 FTB
The restoration was a body off total nut and bolt restoration with a powder coated chassis and bare metal body shell rebuild, all photographed and presented in a finished album.
The full specification includes;- 1950cc stage 2 lightened and balanced lead free engine coupled to a five speed gearbox. Overhauled rear axle with new rear road springs and uprated shock absorbers.
Front suspension totally rebuilt with uprated rubber bushes, new springs and uprated shock absorbers.
Front brakes converted to discs, all braking system overhauled and renewed.
60 Spoke chrome wire wheels with radial tyres.
All wiring harnesses and systems replace. Negative earth single 12 volt battery with alternator charging, electronic ignition and cooling fans fitted. All new lights White faced dials and instruments. Burr walnut dashboard.
Electronic variable power steering with Polished spoke wood rim steering wheel.
All chrome and bright work replaced along with new windscreen. Chrome boot rack.
New interior floor panels. All new interior trim with deluxe style seats trimmed in magnolia leather and Dark blue carpets. Off white hood and tonneau cover. Static style seat belts to match trim colour.
Tubular long branch large bore exhaust system with twin tail pipes.
All in all a huge specification with just 1800 miles of use.
