Registered 1st August 1968 DBS Chassis number DBS/5054R is one of the first DBS produced. This can be identified by the interior trim features of door pockets etc only fitted in the first year of DBS production.
This particular car has had just two owners from new, the second has owned the car since 1972 and it is only now offered on the market of a deceased estate.
Finished in Dubonnet (burgundy) the car has clearly been repainted at some point. Engine has also been rebuilt although it has not been possible to locate the complete history file, MOT certificates to hand do go back to the early 1990's.
This is very much a genuine and original car and for the best part in very good condition indeed. Drives very well and with a fresh MOT certificate. It would benefit from some additional TLC mechanically and engine bay detail. And priced accordingly
The car has covered just 15000 miles since 1995
Interior trim is original and in good order with lots of patina and character. Including its original 'Motorola' radio.
What a lovely and original car !!!
