This is a very rare bell housing used to fit a ZF 'dog leg' five speed gearbox to a six cylinder DB engine.
This configuration was used in a few DB6 models and later in the 1972 / 73 model known as Vantage. which was the single headlamp car powered by the six cylinder engine.
