Photos of MGA restorations

At Oselli we have been restoring and building MGA's to order for many years now.

With such experience we offer enhanced vehicles tastefully restored to retail the appearance of originality whilst incorporating the benefits to suit modern road and driving conditions.

Such enhancements include the 1950cc B series five main bearing lead free balanced engine.

The five speed gearbox conversion but retaining the correct position of gear lever and pedal operation.

Alternator charging system on a negative earth car allowing for inside distribtor electronic ignition.

Oil coolers and electronic radiator cooling fan.

Front disc brakes and brake servo system.

Choice of body colour, trim spec, chrome, wire wheels, etc. etc.

The MGA donor car can of course be of any reasonable condition, as long as structually sound.

The Body is then stripped off the chassis, The chassis stripped of all fittings and then all parts are short blasted to remove all remains of paint and corrosion.

The chassis after repair is powder coated with all new wood and floors.

Mechanical parts after restoration, are then re assembled to the chassis.

This includes the new engine and gearbox, suspension, disc brakes, axle etc

The body structure is repaired with new panels as required and then painted inside and out in body colour.

The body is then refitted to the chassis and interior fitments such as trim, electrics, cooling systems, heater etc are all installed

Finally all chrome and fittings are re installed ready for the initial road testing.

Giving the final finished item: an as new MGA to a very high spec!!!
