Note: If necessary to rectify a badly damaged journal either by restroking or additional U/S grinding on all or some journals the additional time taken to complete will be charged extra.
Repolishing
All reground journals are finish polished as part of the regrind operation. Polishing is also essential for bearing surfaces which have been tuftride hardened, repolishing is also used for reclaiming journals with slight damage.
