I had the engine out on its first event last weekend. Caledonian rally one day in Kielder forests, second day in the Scottish borders. Only 3 1300 entered so we were amalgamated with 1600. We got a strong result 3rd in class 32nd overall from 75 starters, 1st 1300. I didn't go much above 5000 as still only managed to get about 500 miles on it.

David, Just to let you know that since you fitted the 1950 Fast Road Stage 2 engine my roadster has been utterly transformed. The throttle response is brilliant and coupled with that uprated front roll bar the cornering is much more assured. Hi David, I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the work carried out on my MG.
