This MGA has some fasinating history and quite well known in MGA circles.

The car was repatriated in the 1980's and recived a body off restoration and prepared for Rallying.for the next 10 years with lots of history.

In 2010 the car againg recived a body restoration and the car was repainted in black with burgundy trim, including bucket style seats, louvered bonnet etc At that time the car changed ownership once more.

Moving on TFV 500 was little used but well maintaned until in 2014 the car was sent to Oselli for upgrades including the well known Oselli 1950cc stage two high torque engine with five speed gearbox, performance exhaust, new carburretors and cooling system upgrades.
Addition upgrades included alternator, negative earth charging system and so on.

All in all a well presented and superb driving car.

I had the engine out on its first event last weekend. Caledonian rally one day in Kielder forests, second day in the Scottish borders. Only 3 1300 entered so we were amalgamated with 1600. We got a strong result 3rd in class 32nd overall from 75 starters, 1st 1300. I didn't go much above 5000 as still only managed to get about 500 miles on it.

I replaced my rocker cover with the one from Oselli. Order placed with Claire's advice, it was delivered to me with moderate shipping costs. With its glued cork seal, it enhances the engine of my MGA. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

David, Just to let you know that since you fitted the 1950 Fast Road Stage 2 engine my roadster has been utterly transformed. The throttle response is brilliant and coupled with that uprated front roll bar the cornering is much more assured. Normally I put her away at this time of year but no i'm having too much fun right now. Thank you for all the advice and the whole process from start to finish was faultless. Best Regards 0

Hi David, I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the work carried out on my MG. I can already feel the difference in performance with just the basic tune, & it's nice not to look at that marked up windscreen. Overdrive was sluggish and now engages almost instantly, car is starting very easily, also it seems to be running better overall. Looks like the new wiring looms made a lot of difference.
